March 28th “Pamper for Cancer”

The Blue Giraffe Day Spa Salon sponsered it’s first annual “Cancer for Pamper” fundraiser on March 28th, recieving a large outpouring of support from the local community. All services were offered at 50% off the normal price and all proceeds were donated to the American Cancer Society.

The fundraiser was featured in the Mail Tribune, the Daily Tidings, The Sneak Preview and Jefferson Public Radio, and the spa services were sold out within the first week of March. Over $1400 was raised for the American Cancer Society, where contributions are are used for research, education, advocacy and service.
